General Overview

A portable C-arm system for digital fluoroscopy with flat panel detectors, Symbol FP is equipped with exclusive devices ensuring precise and rapid positioning, allowing the selection of the best projection for any procedure.
The advanced acquisition devices and digital system provide high quality and DICOM complaint images at the lowest dose.
Symbol FP is available in configurations studied to meet the operator’s needs in different surgical and cardiovascular applications.

Flat panel technology

Symbol FP features a high-power X-ray generator and high-speed rotating X-ray tube anode that can be paired with innovative small or large digital flat panel detectors.
All operational parameters are managed through a control panel equipped with an intuitive colour touchscreen that also allows for image visualization.

Balanced movements

The system’s compact design and reduced weight provide easy and safe manoeuvrability. Thanks to the wide counterbalanced movements, light weight and high precision of the anodized aluminium C-Arm, Symbol FP is suited for a variety of applications, especially in the operating room.

Operator friendly

Ergonomic design and intuitive interface, consisting of a touchscreen control panel, ensure the operator complete and easy control of all operational parameters.
Symbol FP’s overall reduced dimensions and light weight allow for easy displacement by the operator.

Digital processing

Thanks to the advanced digital image processing software and wide memory capacity the system ensures real-time and post-processing adjustments, such as virtual collimation and edge enhancement, without exposing the patient to X-rays.
The double monitor screen medical grade workstation provides for ease of and safety of use for operators and patients.

Smart Dose

Technologically advanced components and state of the art image processing software provide optimal image quality with the lowest patient dose in all operating conditions, thus tailoring the dose to the patients and upholding their safety.

DSA

DSA (Digital Subtraction Angiography), after the injection of contrast material, allows the real-time evaluation of upper and lower extremities vascular disease.
The obtained sequence of images is a useful tool to measure objects directly and ensures a deep stenosis analysis.
